I just saw an awesome little gooseneck being pulled by a 150 and it seemed to do great. I am currently trying to reevaluate my car situation and really want to find something I can haul with but can't figure out what to get. A lady at the barn has a smaller 2500 Chevy (gas) and it is really lethargic hauling. But considering that I won't be making long hauls and might haul 1-2x a month I have a lot to think about!

Sorry for the delayed reply - thinking about this again after an absurd tire bill on my car after a flat… Audi out truck/suv in. Believe it or not they are the same frame different body. It is safe as long as you pay attention to max payload and use safe driving practices. We also have pulled the bumper pull trailers we own with our expedition, but aesthetically I prefer trucks! lol honestly gas mileage between the two is the sameThe Pony Post Gradhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08026700627432812374noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5967731398647398880.post-23933012825076511362014-02-18T21:20:17.844-08:002014-02-18T21:20:17.844-08:00I didn't know you didn't have one!I didn't know you didn't have one! If I'm getting a goose neck I would want an f250 diesel. If I was to go the bumper pull route if prefer a large SUV like a Tahoe with the appropriate away bars and tow package etc. Bc ultimately I wouldn't feel comfortable pulling a larger trailer with just a 150. There are tons of threads out there on various sites that could probably help some with your decision :) gas mileage wise I guess the 150 makes more sense just woudknt be beefy enough for me if I was going to be driving a truck all the time.

Also don't know if you saw my question on your last post but I would love to know how you managed to renew your domain :) Hillaryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02884053627728391449noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5967731398647398880.post-57645449312358090272014-02-14T10:21:56.227-08:002014-02-14T10:21:56.227-08:00Oh how I want a truck and trailer!!Oh how I want a truck and trailer!!Karleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09196824979284472867noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5967731398647398880.post-6343561975381291952014-02-14T09:33:39.436-08:002014-02-14T09:33:39.436-08:00I'm in the "always get the bigger truck&q...I'm in the "always get the bigger truck" boat, but I'm not the one writing a check. ;)SprinklerBandithttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02948487857418394022noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5967731398647398880.post-3739178939980179592014-02-13T15:23:34.030-08:002014-02-13T15:23:34.030-08:00Good luck!
